ABOUT DAROLD
Darold is a product design professional with experience taking concepts through the full development lifecycle. His background in design and product development has helped companies build their offerings. He believes in the human element above all else and is driven to improve the human condition through universal design. He is team Principal at the R&D firm Replicant AD and mentors students at DesignLab UX Academy .
PERSONAL STATEMENT
I’m not presumptuous enough to feel that people are going to feel what I have in mind; I am less interested in my idea of good UX (as a subject for a product) than I am in other people and their world. People have minds of their own and eyes of their own and they’re going to use software in their way. The UX does not exist in its own right, since it changes from person to person and at every moment; but the interactions and surrounding atmosphere brings it to life.
